With more than 25 years' experience practicing exclusively in the area of labor and employment law, Ms. Miller represents management in the full range of litigation, from wrongful termination and discrimination to sexual harassment and disability discrimination.  She also provides strategic advice on employment risk management.

Named a "Super Lawyer" by Super Lawyers - Northern California magazine in 2004, 2005 and 2007, Ms. Miller is a frequent lecturer on employment issues both for firm clients and outside groups, including the National Retail Federation. Ms. Miller also has been an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she taught a seminar on Advanced Employment Litigation. Her articles on employment issues affecting employers and HR professionals have appeared in numerous publications, on websites and in training materials.

Ms. Miller is on the board of directors of the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) and a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC). She is also a member of the Labor and Employment Law sections of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of California, the Bar Association of San Francisco, and the Defense Research Institute. Ms. Miller is active in the Bay Area community, serving as a trustee for a variety of institutions, including the American Conservatory Theatre.

Ms. Miller received her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of Law, in 1982 and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan in 1978.
