Ms. Agarwal represents employers large and small against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, failure to accommodate, wrongful termination, and wage-and-hour violations in single-plaintiff, multi-plaintiff and class action lawsuits. In addition, Ms. Agarwal advises employers regarding best practices with respect to hiring, firing, investigations, leaves of absence, disability accommodation and reductions in force. She is also experienced in traditional labor law, including labor arbitrations and collective bargaining agreement negotiations, as well as in workers’ compensation. Ms. Agarwal has handled numerous claims before the Department of Fair Employment and Housing and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and has successfully negotiated many early resolutions through mediation and other means of alternative dispute resolution.
